WE’RE LOOKING FOR GARFIELD COUNTY RESIDENTS THAT WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE GARFIELD COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Garfield County Conservation District is seeking two individuals to serve on our Board of Supervisors

  • One Rural Supervisor

  • One Urban Supervisor

Our Board of Supervisors plays an important role in guiding conservation efforts across Garfield County. The board supports local agricultural producers, promotes responsible land stewardship, provides educational opportunities, and helps protect natural resources. Board members make a lasting difference for the community.

Supervisor responsibilities

  • Help guide conservation programs and projects countywide

  • Provide input and make decisions that benefit land, water, agriculture, and the community

  • Attend board meetings and participate in district discussions

  • Work with fellow supervisors, local landowners, and conservation partners

  • Serve as a voice for the future of conservation in Garfield County

Who should apply? You do not need to be an expert in conservation. We seek individuals who care about the community, are willing to learn, and want to play an active role in keeping Garfield County a great place to live, work, and raise future generations. Candidates with agricultural backgrounds and those with a passion for natural resources and community stewardship are encouraged to apply.
