Make sure to get your tree orders placed by 4:30 p.m. TODAY.

Conservation & Ag Kid's Day Event
Garfield County Conservation District is hosting an afternoon of Conservation & Ag Education for the Jordan Public Schools Kindergarten - 6th Grade.
The event will be held on April 20, 2026 in the Multi -Purpose Room of the Garfield County District High School.
We will have eight presenters giving 15 minute teaching presentations about various subjects to the students.

Gardening Workshop
Ready to dig into gardening this spring? Join us on April 9, 2026 for a fun and informative Gardening Workshop led by Anthony Sammartano with MSU Extension (Yellowstone County)!
This workshop will cover gardening basics with a focus on smaller gardens, including:
Getting Started
Selecting Fruits, Vegetables, and Herbs and such that will grow well in our area

The Montana Climate Office and Garfield County Conservation District invite you to join us to learn how 11 new high-tech weather stations across Garfield County are supporting local agriculture. Come see how to access real-time weather and soil data to help with drought planning, irrigation decisions, and day-to-day farm and ranch management.

Pest Control Class
Join Stephen M. Vantassel, Vertebrate Pest Specialist, from Montana Department of Agriculture, the Garfield County Conservation District, and Garfield County Montana Extension Agency for a great educational opportunity to earn UP TO 2 PESTICIDE CREDITS.
This call will give you the opportunity to learn ways to Control Large Acres of Prairies Dogs and Use of M-44s for Controlling Canine Predators.
