We had a great turnout at our weather station event last week and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!
Over 20 producers joined us to check out the stations, learn how to access the data, and talk about how real-time weather information can support decision-making out in the field. It was awesome to see so much interest and ask great questions that can be utilized to make these stations more user friendly in the future
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a successful event, we appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to provide tools and resources that benefit our producers!
Using the QR Codes
The QR codes shown on the mesonet weather stations tab will take you directly to each weather station’s page. Simply open the camera on your smartphone, point it at the QR code, and tap the link that pops up on your screen. No apps or searching required! This makes it quick and easy to check real-time weather data anytime you need it; whether you’re in the field, at home, or on the go.

We had such a wonderful time at our gardening class on April 9, 2026! A total of 22 community members showed up, and it turned out to be such a fun and informative experience for everyone involved.
We learned so much about companion planting (what plants grow best together) as well as tips on soil health, watering techniques, and many other helpful gardening practices. It was great to see everyone so engaged and excited to learn more about growing healthy, thriving gardens.
A big congratulations to Sharon Brusett, the winner of the $100 gift certificate!
