Drought doesn't only affect the land, livestock, and bottom line — it can take a toll on the people behind the operation, too. Learn about mental health resources and support available specifically for our agricultural community.
Cattle Supplementation & Body Condition Scoring
Learn more about evaluating body condition and making supplementation decisions when drought affects available forage and nutrition.
Forage Quality & Noxious Weeds
We'll talk about forage quality during challenging growing conditions, what producers should be watching for, and noxious weed concerns that can impact our rangelands and livestock.
Monitoring Drought the Montana Way
Learn how drought is monitored here in Montana, where our information comes from, and how local conditions and producer observations can help tell the story of what's actually happening on the ground.
